Promenada Resort Mall

Promenada Resort Mall, also known as Promenada Chiang Mai, is a large shopping mall located south-east of the old city.

The first mall of its kind in Chiang Mai, Promenada is also the location where many foreigners come to extend their visas at the immigration centre located right next to the mall.

Promenada is home to a number of retail clothing stores as well as bags, shoes, electronics and a large Rimping Supermarket. There are also optometrists, a pharmacy, Toys R Us, as well as foot outlets and coffee shops. You will find Dukes, Ragu, Mix, Wine Connection, Black Canyon, Wawee, Tom Toms, Auntie Anne’s and so many more. Ample parking spaces are readily available at the mall for cars and scooters.

The immigration office is located behind the car park area of the mall on the ground level where you can apply for or extend a Retirement Visa, Tourist Visa, Medical Visa or complete your 90 days report. The offices are open from Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 4.30pm and are closed on the weekends and public holidays.

There is a convenient photocopy and photograph shop located at he immigration office as well who can provide you with the photos you need for your application as well as photocopies as required. So there is no need to organise before you arrive. Make sure to get there before opening, so that you can secure your place in line.
