Tad Kwan Village

The Tad Kwan Village is a well-loved cultural destination in Chiang Rai. Located 70 kilometres from the city, there are many natural attractions to discover.

The village is best known for being the home of the Mien Hill Tribe, whose captivating culture stems from their nomadic nature; having originated in Tibet and moved to Chiang Rai around 2,500 years ago.

This destination is unique because it’s one of the last unspoiled Mien villages in the seat of the ancient Lanna kingdom.
