At the Yun Lai Viewpoint, there are a few basic tourist facilities that don’t take away from the experience of being in such a beautiful natural setting. These include some bungalows to relax in, as well as some toilets, which will come in handy especially if you fancy spending a whole afternoon here. Otherwise, half an hour’s visit will suffice.
Upon arrival at Pai, most travellers get around by renting a motorbike. If you don’t have experience or aren’t confident enough to ride one, you can also rent a bicycle for the day. The journey getting to the lookout is fairly easy and safe, and it will take around 15 minutes or less from the town centre.
From the viewpoint, you can easily access many of Pai’s most popular attractions. To make the most out of your time here, you can combine it with nearby sights such as the Tham Lod cave, some waterfalls, hot springs, or you could go back to the town centre and unwind.
